At Boys & Girls Club of the Greater New Bedford, we strive to create opportunities where community members can have fun, network, connect with Club youth, and make a positive impact – all while raising funds to support the overall mission of BGCGNB. Throughout the year, we host five premier events that give us the chance to come together to support BGCTC programming in the areas of Academic Success, Health & Wellness, and Life & Workforce. The Rick Jalbert All-Star Basketball Challenge

This basketball challenge features 48 local boys and girls high school all-star basketball players in a series of basketball games. The entire basketball event is attended by approximately 600 people. The high school all-star games will be preceded by a Jr. All-Star game. A college scholarship is awarded to the MVP of each high school all-star game.
